'India's road infra will match US, European countries in a few yrs': Nitin Gadkari

Speaking at the Times Network India Economic Conclave 2021, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari said that India's road infrastructure will match with the likes of the USA and some European countries by end of this Modi govt tenure. "We are constructing 35 kms of road per day and our aim is to achieve 40 kms of road construction per day. Despite Covid-19, we increased Rs 10,000 crore in toll collection," he said.
