2020 Animation Reel

aaand cut scene! i am so glad to say goodbye to this year-

i can't believe it's already been a whole exact year since i posted the 2019 animation reel. you all have helped me come so so far and i am so unbelievably grateful, thank you so so so much for 25k it means the absolute WORLD to me and everyone's support is absolutely incredible ♡♡♡

despite the circumstances this year i have been honored to be able to interact and become friends with many incredible and talented people and i am quite proud of the improvement in my artwork and animation! this little animation reel was really fun to make and it was fun to go back on some of my older works from earlier this year.

aight let's get honest here this year i REALLY burnt myself out by the amount of work i gave myself to do. i just wasnt feeling overall great throughout the year and i think i subconsciously tried to distract myself with so much work so i had no time to be sad (it didn't really work though, the amount of work i gave myself ended up making things worse) i felt (and honestly still feel) very overrated and i was trying so hard to force my art and animations to be better and more deserving of the 25k and i just was constantly stressed and tired and just- its complicated hshshgshgdvgs
(also i promise i’m not asking for pity i’m sorry if it seems like that i’m just briefly saying how i felt this year i’m better now)

SO
this next year, i really am going to try and cut back a bit on map parts and stop pressuring myself to do so much, and really focus on my own characters and stories and such
this year i barely gave myself any time to just sit and develop characters and do my own animations (on my own accord though) and i would love to go further with that! im also thinking of starting a secondary gaming channel/a twitch sometime very soon because i would love to do more with that too :D
i would love to do more voice videos as well in the future! maybe i can try to get a somewhat better mic and start doing fun stuff like story time videos or tutorials or something if people are interested ^^ along with more animation memes too i just constantly lose motivation for those

ALSO!! IM NOT GONNA STOP HOSTING MAPS AND JOINING MAPS i absolutely LOVE map hosting and joining in maps and taking map parts, it is so fun and i love being able to experiment and practice with new characters and scenes, i just think im gonna try to cut back on the amount of them a bit. i would love to do a lot more interactive things this upcoming year, like more collabs, art trades, possibly commissions and more interactive fun livestreams and stuff!

i think its safe to say this year we all felt really disconnected and alone. i really hope to try and change that just a little bit next year, whether it be dming people more, interacting in livestreams or possibly making a discord server for people to interact and make friends! of course i cant do everything and i am gonna be trying to let myself relax a bit from constant working but if i can do just a little bit to help people feel better in any way in these difficult times then that is more than enough to continue doing what im doing
