How to Build a Google Map Birdhouse - FP Edition

I’ve uploaded a PDF file of my template (pattern) to my Blog.

Spray glue the template on a piece of 1"x 10" pine;

roughly cut it out on the bandsaw (you could use a jig saw); then sand up to the line using a disc sander. To attach the front of the birdhouse to the can cut some scrap wood to the shape of the can and attach to the back side of the facade. Drill some pilot holes (to prevent the blocks from splitting) and attached the facade to the can.

The can is a reused coffee can (3lbs). Drill holes in the bottom for drainage and attached some "L" brackets on the back or just drill the holes through the back of the can to attach it to a post or tree.
