We are New Marshall Plan (#NMP), a Dutch Indie band from #Utrecht, crafting 80's/90's inspired #pop / #rock songs that are unlike anything you've heard before!
"Clear Blue Sky" explores the challenges of modern relationships. It captures the feelings of two people struggling to connect, even when they're close. The song speaks to the universal experience of feeling both near and far from a loved one. Communication becomes difficult, and despite efforts to bridge the gap, it seems to grow wider. The "clear blue sky" in the song represents both the openness we want in relationships and the vast space between people. It highlights how in modern love, we can be physically close but emotionally distant.

"Clear Blue Sky" is the 5th track of the release cycle of our 2007 Album, Bermuda. We self-recorded this album but never released it online (this was sort of before YouTube and Spotify truly existed!). After our debut Album Escalate's success, we boldly decided: 'why not share our old stuff too'?
However, when we listened to Bermuda again, the quality was below our current release standard. As such, we have redone most of the vocals, added some synths, and, most importantly, let the engineer who recorded and mixed our Escalate album remix all the tracks.
Though the music we made in 2007 is different than now (more rock, less synthpop), we are still happy we can share this with the world!

The music video for "Clear Blue Sky" was created using our own AI-driven workflow, combining cutting-edge tools to produce a unique visual experience:
#Conceptualization: The video concept was developed through collaboration with the AI language model #claude by #anthropic. It helped generate and refine ideas based on the song's themes and lyrics in a 'conversational' style.
#Storyboarding: AI-generated prompts were used to create a detailed storyboard, breaking down the video into specific scenes and transitions.
#Image Generation: Static images for key scenes were created using #midjourney, an AI picture generation tool. Carefully crafted prompts produced surreal, dreamlike visuals that matched the song's atmosphere.
#Motion Generation: #runwaygen3, an AI video generation tool, was used to bring the static images to life. This tool created smooth transitions and dynamic movements between scenes, including first-person view (FPV) flight sequences.
Post-Production: The AI-generated visuals were then edited and synchronized with the music to create the final video.
