Letmo 2,5 cc diesel, 1947 by Josef Pfeffer/ MP-Jet replica

Welcom back to my next short run.Its the Czech Letmo 2,5 cc diesel. Josef Pfeffer has a big name in the Chech republik about model engines.The here shown Letmo was also build as a 3cc version in 1947.
Maeby his most famouse are the smal square head engines.But also the 2,5 rear intake team race diesel is wel known for his great performance.
The MP-jet is a great replica! Wit high quality materials and superb finish.Its made with a lot of attention to details.Its of course made on modern cnc machines so its a high quality product.You can use it like a every day engine.Crankshaft runs in bronce bush .The cilinder and piston fit is very nice.I can only highly recomended the engine,..... if you like replica diesels.Its a typical longstroke side port engine,with the mega tork for his size,to swing big props . ..and a lovely sound!
My exemplar starts extrem nice....MP-Jet has made in the past also the Super Atom 1.8 replica.This is also a great and very reomended diesel engine!!!. Its also SAM aprooved,I think,..if you fly competition oldtimers. You can sometimes find them on E-Bay for a good price,if you are lucky!
