UN Condemns Israel’s ‘Dangerous’ Gaza Aid Plan | Civilians Left to Starve

The United Nations Humanitarian Country Team has issued a stark warning: Israel’s proposed new aid system in Gaza would be “dangerous” and “a violation of humanitarian principles.”

According to the UN, Israel aims to funnel humanitarian aid through military-controlled hubs, cutting off access to vulnerable communities and potentially forcing civilians into militarized zones to find food, water, and medicine.

“Bakeries have shut. Community kitchens have closed. Warehouses stand empty. Children have gone hungry,”
the UN said in a statement.
The move comes as Israeli forces prepare to escalate military operations in central and southern Gaza, with thousands of reservists being called up. UNRWA warns that nearly a third of essential supplies are already gone, with more expected to run out in under two months.

The UN is calling on world leaders to intervene and pressure Israel to reopen Gaza border crossings immediately.
