It is winter here now in July in Argentina (where I currently live) and the cold affects the tuning and the reed performance somewhat.

It is not so easy even with the gas heater to maintain a steady temperature in my studio so that means that the temperature of the sax itself changes affecting the tuning.
As I do not have perfect pitch I wanted and needed a pitch reference to tune with.
So I decided to export the midi of a triad Pair exercise I wrote in to pro tools and play along with the generated sound.

I found it really quite enjoyable once I had warmed up.
It requires you to play more academically - to blend with synth sound -
which I think is a geat thing to do at least for a short period of time each day.

The exercise feature 2 triad pairs over each major7 chord.
I call this the “Eternal” progression as it never ends!
