Members Only: "MacNeil/Lehrer on the JFK Assassination"

Legendary broadcast journalists Robert MacNeil and Jim Lehrer shared their memories of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in a special "Members Only" event at the Newseum. Judy Woodruff, senior correspondent and co-anchor of "PBS NewsHour," moderated the program.

To mark the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's assassination, the Newseum recently opened two new exhibits — "Three Shots Were Fired" and "Creating Camelot" — and an original documentary film, "A Thousand Days," which chronicles Kennedy's presidency, family life and death.
