True to its name, ceramic artist Jang Jin-young—also known as MUTA—creates freely, guided by instinct rather than fixed forms or themes.

Her breakout series, “Something Like Buddha,” captivated many despite her status as an emerging artist.
Now, through her latest work titled “Utopia,” she explores the struggles of modern life and offers social satire using a cartoon-like sculptural language.
