Accused Mom Clashes With Prosecutor During Heated Testimony

On Wednesday, Kianna Davis took the stand in her own defense as she faces charges in the death of her 2-year-old son, Karter Ambrose. Prosecutors allege Davis and her then-boyfriend, Kiyon Benton, were responsible for the toddler’s fatal injuries in November 2020 and failed to seek immediate medical care. During testimony, Davis denied having any involvement in Karter’s death and answered questions about her actions and conversations with investigators following her son’s death.
