Restoring the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias

The Mariposa Grove reopened in June, 2018 after being closed three years for restoration. The closure allowed for the biggest ecological restoration project in the park's history, improving conditions for the giant sequoias and making the grove a more pleasant place to visit. Thanks to Yosemite Conservancy donors for their generous support; this project would not have been possible without them.
