Perth Symphony Orchestra performs 'Plans' with Ian Kenny

Perth Symphony Orchestra was commissioned to produce a performance for the 2018 West Australian of the Year Awards dinner on Friday 1st June.

Perth Symphony regularly collaborates with other art forms and artists and aspires to have a truly Western Australian ‘voice’. For this project, we wanted to create something that truly represents all Western Australians and invited musicians from different cultural backgrounds, all of whom call WA home, to join us in performing hit song “Plans” by WA band, Birds of Tokyo.

Bourby Webster, Founder and Director of Perth Symphony was also a finalist in the Arts & Culture category of the 2018 West Australian of the Year Awards.
