Using rocks as a landscape focal point

Using rocks as a landscape focal point is one of my favorite things! The rocks I personally have in my landscape all have a story - some boulders I have acquired have even come from underwater!! I have also gotten a bunch from the yards of friends and family members who are lucky enough to live in an area plentiful with rocks. Rocks are not so plentiful here in coastal North Carolina! Sharing rocks is as exciting to me as sharing plants from my garden.
