During high season, tourists and holidaymakers from all over the Spanish coast visit Mijas Pueblo (the hillside village) Mijas Costa (the main commercial and residential area adjacent to Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas (separate village and small resort by the sea to the west)

Mijas Costa Del Sol is in the Province of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Located on the southeastern coast of Spain, Mijas belongs to the region of Costa del Sol Occidental. Mijas Pueblo is most definitely a part of this region you should visit when you're on holiday here.

The village of Mijas Pueblo is located about 22 kilometres from Malaga airport on the Mediterranean highway and 30 km from the city of Malaga.

Also known as Mijas Pueblo Malaga this village has some extraordinary views down to the beach and the coast as well as views of the nearby mountains. This beautiful white village sits high up on the hillside looking down over stunning countryside and sea.

In Mijas Pueblo Spain you can find everything from shops and amazing shopping, to bars, restaurants, cafe's and even the famous donkey taxis to take you around the village for a few euros to get the full view of the place (highly recommended)

There are coach trips and excursions up to the village if you want to take advantage of those for a day trip or to spend the morning overlooking the sea.

When I film these videos sometimes I get a connection to the place and that was most definitely the case here in Mijas Pueblo Malaga. I'd love to go back and definitely will. Despite it being very quiet when I filmed this it's clear that it's a stunning place to visit and right up there on my list of places to visit again and film or just enjoy a holiday here.

In this video we see the Mijas Apartments and Mijas Property Agents, the pharmacy, the tourist office and town hall, the Plaza Virgen De La Pena, Restaurante Bar Mijas, the Donkey Taxis and horse and carriages, the Ermita de la Virgen de la Peña chapel built into the caves and the rock, and the amazing views of the Costa Del Sol and Malaga region including the sea view at the end!
