Glamping Experience at the Mayfield Garden, Oberon NSW + Visited the Hawkins Family Private Garden

Riley & I went on a Glamping experience at Mayfield Gardens, Oberon NSW in time for their Summer Festival to celebrate our Anniversary.

We booked our accommodation through the Simple Pleasures Camping website. The Glamping in the Garden Package included an overnight stay in one of the tents, a 3-course dinner for two and garden entry for two adults for 2 days. Here's the link to the website for tickets and more information -

Mayfield Gardens is 2.5hrs away from Sydney by car. But we decided to go on a quick stop over at The Boiler House Restaurant & Cafe beside Hydro Majestic for a quick lunch before proceeding to the gardens.

Mayfield is made up of two main garden areas, Mayfield Garden and the Hawkins’ Family Garden – together they make up the spectacular, world-class 65-hectare cool climate garden. 

The Hawkins’ Family Garden is the private garden area of the Hawkins family, which is an additional 49  hectares  (120  acres) beyond Mayfield Garden. The whole Hawkins’ Family Garden is open to visitors during four seasonal festivals.
