25 - 30 KNOT WINDS and 10 FOOT WAVES as we CROSS THE GULF STREAM!

This week our world sailing adventure begins in earnest as we leave the United States for the forseeable future and head for the Bahamas! We had a narrow weather window to hit to avoid being delayed by another week to 10 days and the forecast looked lively but good. However, as the Gulf Stream has a tendency to do, it took us for a ride! It was quite a way to kick off our voyage, sailing an average of about 8-9 knots and riding some serious waves with winds in the high 20's. And this is just the first passage! Enjoy!!
