Going-To-The-Sun Road BLEW our minds! | Full-time RVers in Glacier National Park

Honestly, I’m a little embarrassed to have only found out about this beauty in the last year or so since we’ve been researching places to visit. It’s breathtaking. Literally. We drove the main road through the park, and I gasped and said “WOW!” around every curve. 👀⠀

From the rainbow rocks and turquoise clear water at Lake McDonald to the highest spot on the road called Logan Pass, it’s absolutely spectacular! 😍 Pretty sure I’m gonna run out of appropriate adjectives by the end of this caption, though. 😂⠀

And THE ROAD. Going-To-The-Sun Road was built in the 1920s and was the first of its kind. Carved into the side of the mountain (mostly by hand and dynamite), it would be an impressive feat even for today’s engineering. Almost 50 miles of jaw-dropping views stretched across these beautiful mountain ranges! 🏔 🙌🏻⠀

We also had the BEST guide with @gypsytourguides! He taught us so much about the history of the road, while also offering useful tips on what we should do and where we should go. All while being extremely pleasant to listen to. He gave me voice envy! 😎 You should definitely check out the app if you do any traveling at all. Well worth a few bucks! And we HATE spending money. 😂⁣
