Raw Water Impeller Replacement And Winterization On A Caterpillar 3116.

During the winterizing process I noticed that the port engine wasn't drawing antifreeze from the port strainer even though the engine was operating at a normal temperature.
I decided to have a look at the raw water impeller and to my surprise, the port raw water impeller was badly deteriorated and needed to be replaced. The STBD engine, although in better condition, also was badly deteriorated.
After researching the web and YouTube, I was not able to find and information on raw water impeller replacement on the Caterpillar 3116 or in a Sea Ray 370 Aft Cabin so I decided to record how I replaced the impellers. After the replacement of both impellers I re-winterized both engines once again.

Engines are 1999 Turbocharged Caterpillar 3116
