It can hurt when you’ve known someone for a long time, but they turn out to be a snake. But what made you trust them in the first place? And what makes us react to betrayal in such a strong way?
After recently realising the true nature of one of my longest friends, I decided to make myself feel like less of a fool by researching a bit on the science of trust. Feat. a friendship bracelet, me getting hit in the face with a kitchen cloth projectile, and a confrontation.
