Hello! In this video, I give my advice on how to set yourself up for success when looking for a PhD advisor. The process of finding the right advisor should be more than just looking for who is doing research that interests you. Let me know if there's anything else that you've found to be important! The advice I give is only based on my own experiences and observations :)

Towards the end of the video, I mention a time when I almost had to fund myself to avoid TA-ing. Just to clarify - my advisor did end up finding funding for me. You shouldn't need to fund yourself to get a PhD!
