Chemical Plant Zone - Sonic 2 - Full Bass Cover

I did metal, I did jazz... might as well do some funky stuff while we're at it.

I used to be a pretty big Sonic fan when I was a kid. I especially loved the Adventure series, and Sonic Heroes is one of my favorite games of all time, no joke! Nowadays, I don't play Sonic games as much, I really don't like the boost formula and kinda hope they could go back to the old Adventure ways. Besides, some of these recent games are funky, but not in a good way, if you know what I mean... at least, Sonic Mania was excellent!
Mixing this one was pretty difficult, I didn't expect to end up with so many tracks. The wah pedal rhythm track was especially challenging to mix properly without it eating too many frequencies. Might not be my best mix, but I hope you'll be able to enjoy it still.

Oh yeah, I also need to mention that I made a little mistake during video editing: the project's resolution was set to 480p, and I didn't notice until the very end. I managed to scale everything back up to 720p at least, but this is why this video in particular might look a little more crusty than usual. Hopefully this shouldn't affect sound quality. The same thing happened while editing my Megaman II cover, hence why it's only 720p. Now that I now what was wrong, this should happen again though.
