Federal police with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have arrested an illegal immigrant who threatened to assassinate President Donald Trump at one of his rallies.

Mexican citizen Ramon Morales Reyes, 54, was arrested on May 22 after he claimed to plan to fatally shoot Trump before self-deporting to his home country. Morales Reyes appears to have outlined his plans in a blue ink note that federal authorities released publicly Wednesday afternoon.
