Worlds Worst 1955 Chevy Nomad. Can We Save It? - First Cut Is The Deepest

It's finally time to put my money where mouth is. This nomad has been left for dead for to long, to many owners and to many moves. Now that it's in the DD Speed Shop, I'll finally do this car justice. We justice in a hacky way..... I have been collecting rust repair panels on this car since I made a deal on the car a few months ago.

Step 1: CUT OUT THE RUST. When I say I went through 50 cutting disks on this car, I'm being dead serious. The floors and rockers were the first to go. Ultimately the body will be swapped onto the rebuilt chassis so I wanted to make sure the body would be structurally sound before the exchange.

Before the entire floor came out I had to replace the rotten rockers to keep the door opening and body aligned. So a little cutting and welding, before you know it the first repair panel was being welded into place.

New metal for the first time in who knows how many years
