Pave PAWS Radar Signals from Beale AFB, California
Video showing random radar pulses from the Pave PAWS (Phased Array Warning System) radar facility at Beale AFB, California are spaced every 1 MHz and appear throughout the 420-450 MHz frequency band. The pulses measure about 300 kHz bandwidth and reach a peak signal strength of -90 dBm (S9+3dB)
The Amateur Radio Service shares this 70 cm band on a secondary basis with the US Government which has priority.
