AZ Downtown Peregrine Falcons ~ It's Mine, All Mine! 6.2.16

Around 8am, Mom arrives with food and the eyas makes a steal and grabs the prey and does not want Mom to take it. He is very excited & does a remarkable job of mantling and protecting his food!! Mom does get it and begins feeding. Afterwards he takes a nap until Mom returns. He joins her on the ledge - watching her preen and dozing off too. Eventually he hops down and goes to the corner of the nest box and spreads out tummy down on the gravel to sleep. Thank you for watching!
