Buffalo New York November 2014 Snow Storm Digging Out - Snowpocalypse Day 2

This is Day 2 of the November 2014 Snow Storm in Western New York. Our objective was to survey an apartment complex that Joe has a maintenance contract with, with multiple units dealing with dwellings with non-operating heat. Joe wanted to see if it was possible to get service vans into the complex to shovel off vent pipes and service malfunctioning units. There was already a front loader working on removing snow from the parking area, which was a very good sign.
As you can see, we took advantage of a window of opportunity while the sun was out and visibility was 100 percent. We tried to go about this task in the most careful way possible. As has been stated on the news multiple times, do not venture out unless necessary. We can confirm, that the snow removal process is going well, however with more snow due to fall, this was our one and only chance for Joe to check on the apartments. We are back to hunkering down and would suggest NOT to venture out unless absolutely necessary.
Try to check on family, friends, and neighbors when you can, and stay safe. This isn’t our first storm and certainly not the last, hopefully this mess gets cleaned up soon.
