After witnessing the raw grandeur of Fish River Canyon, our Namibian journey continued north—into the heart of the Namib Desert, one of the oldest and driest places on Earth.
Here lies Sossusvlei—an ancient salt and clay pan surrounded by towering red dunes that shift and shimmer with the light. Some rise over 1,000 feet into the sky, making them among the tallest sand dunes on the planet.
This is a place where time feels frozen, where the silence is vast, and every sunset paints the desert in fire. This was our second stop in Namibia—and here’s how it went…
