The Ultra Magnus We Almost Got in Transformers 2. Behind the ever so popular Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus is 1 of the coolest truck based Cybertronians. He was the elite robot who showed time and time that he could be a great leader. But at his core he knew he was a soldier and preferred taking orders as opposed to giving them. He garnered quite the fanbase. But for some reason he has yet to be in a live action movie. The only thing that remotely alluded to him being in 1 of the films was a Sentinel Prime concept art that was titled Ultra Magnus. Which Michael Bay purposely mistitled it to throw off leakers. But apparently there was a plan to include the big red and blue soldier. That’s right, there’s a concept art featuring Ultra Magnus in the Bayverse aesthetic that was dated November 8, 2008. It was drawn by Massive Black Inc. who did illustrations for the films. Considering that the concept art was made a year after the first installment it could indicate that Ultra Magnus was considered to have a role in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. But whatever reason was dropped.
