Coche eléctrico VS gasolina/diésel: ¿quién contamina más?

A la hora de calcular la contaminación de un vehículo eléctrico se tiene en cuenta lo que emite la producción de la electricidad que lo impulsa. ¿No deberíamos hacer lo mismo con el coche de combustión?
