Hidden History: What You Don't Know About Louisa May Alcott

The world knows that Louisa May Alcott wrote "Little Women," but she was so much more than just an author. Her family fought against slavery, for women's rights, and for tolerance of all religions. They were also vegan! This was the 1800s, folks!

The Alcott's were friends with Henry David Thoreau, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Ralph Waldo Emerson. What an incredible time in Massachusetts - all of them living where independence for America began in Concord, Massachusetts.

A bit more about me: I grew up in the world of Energy Medicine and show business. I wrote the bestselling book "The Five Elements" based on the world’s oldest personality type system and I co-authored "The Little Book of Energy Medicine" with my mom Donna Eden. I am a proud 28-year member of the Screen Actors Guild.

I have been teaching the Five Elements at the OMEGA Institute in NY for over 17 years with my sister Titanya Dahlin. I am also the creator of the “Wednesday Energy Minutes” which are 60-second clips based on Eden Energy Medicine techniques and filmed at locations across the globe.

I travel with my Mom, spreading Eden Energy Medicine and teaching the Five Elements through international workshops. I also speak and MC conventions and conferences.

Along with Energy Medicine, I also grew up in the world of show business. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and I won the titles of both “Belly Dancer of the Universe” and “Outstanding Speaker in the Nation.” I have been seen in over 100 commercials, performed in over 30 countries, and I am one of the few American dancers to have had a successful career in the Middle East (I think I left my heart in Jordan.)

My home-base is California where I home-school my son and lives in a 1904 house, which I fought for two years to get historically designated by the city of San Diego. That, and home-birthing a large baby with no drugs are two of the accomplishments of which I am quite proud. :)
