The Ying Jow Pai Simple Locks — Some Samples
We just made a video for our students showing 40 of our most basic joint locks — here are a few from that set. This video is meant as a tool to help learn the locks, so you'll see them performed first slow then fast. Joint locks are a specialty of Northern Eagle Claw Kung Fu. The 40 Simple Locks are designed to help students internalize the basic movements; the next step is to practice them in a more dynamic manner, then, while sparring. Thanks for watching, and thanks to GP for helping Sifu Dario Acosta demonstrate them.
