100,000,000 Years to Create a Painting? | Shih-Hsiung Chou | TEDxXinyi

Although he is a generational talent, Shih-Hsiung Chou’s strengths are not in traditionalist painting. Because of it, he was able to find his unique style of painting. He uses crude oil as unique base for his paintings to express himself through art. During this process, he was able to innovate his artistic and personal senses. Through displaying his art and interacting with his audience, he was able to see his positive self-worth. His take home message for the audience is via different perspectives, you will be able to find your unique way for growth while discovering surprising insights about yourself in the process. Appreciating art is similar to appreciating life, when we observe things as they happen through different lens, you will understand why art can bring different things to different people. If we switch from the mindsets of “I can’t” or “It’s very difficult” to more optimistic mindsets, we can find our unique inspirational journeys and receive pleasant surprises in the process.
