Ep. 0: The 1948 Willys CJ2A Project Begins

This is the start of my mid life crisis Jeep project. Will this channel become a thing? Will this Jeep actually ever run and drive reliably (or not...) again? I have no idea. I'm just an idiot who bought a basket case Jeep and thought someone might be amused by me stumbling through figuring it out.

The story goes that this has been parked in a barn for the past 40 years but receipts say that it may have been running 25 years ago. It has some customizations but is mostly original and almost everything seems to be there.

[April 2021 edit] - The more recent videos on this project are more substantial and less bloggy, so if you are new to the channel and are catching up, it's ok to skim the early videos from while I was still trying to figure things out.

[October 2023 edit] - 18k views after 3 years, wow. I look back at my video style from those days and it was terrible. Editing was all jump cuts, poor audio, talking too much. Glad I figured things out. Newer videos are much better produced.
