A Mini Doc about the IndoCaribbean community in Queens, NYC: "District 28"

On Valentine's Day of 2017, IndoCaribbean activist Richard David announced his campaign for city council in the 28th district of New York City in Queens. His mission was simple: To unite the two racially divided sides of the Van Wyck Expressway. His story is supported by other leaders and community groups such as: Flat Tire Productions, Sadhana: Coalition of Progressive Hindus, Find My Fans and Shri Trimurti Bhavan.

Currently, we are fundraising and will be donating HALF of your contributions to a local Queens nonprofit called Jahajee Sisters: Empowering IndoCaribbean Women. Jahajee Sisters is a group led by IndoCaribbean women that fights against gender-based violence and uplifts IndoCaribbean women within their community.
