I built a chopper for my wife's dad - 1979 Shovelhead

After years of seeing me and becky on cool old choppers my father-in-law Mark decided he needed one for himself. I sourced him this 1979 shovelhead that was a complete basket case. We came up with a plan and this is the end result. This build took a while just because i wanted to take my time and have fun with the build but I completely went through every piece on this bike, rebuilt the motor and trans, hardtailed the frame, modified the tank and added some molding, bent up the sissy bar, designed the handlebars and had them bent specifically for this bike. Anyways was a great experience getting to show it to him all finished for the first time and was awesome to see how much he liked it. I could hardly get him to quit riding it all weekend haha
