In this nail-biting episode of Embroidery Hub, two of our most experienced embroiderers have one hour to embroider as many production-ready caps as possible. The twist? Willy will be working on an MT-1502 two-head machine, and Julia will be using two MT-1501 single-head machines! The other twist? They each will only have one cap ring per head to work with!
When the hour is up, our contestants will face the judge and Ricoma CEO, Henry Ma with their completed caps. Henry will then inspect each cap for ultimate quality and chose a winner based on the number of quality-controlled caps our contestants managed to complete.
With only 10 minutes to prep and test their machines, these contestants will have to make sure their machines are ready to go because once the clock starts, they will have to utilize each second, create an optimal workflow and ensure each cap is properly hooped, traced and embroidered.
Including interviews with our contestants as they relive the competition and tell you just what they were thinking as they worked, this episode will allow you to witness first-hand the differences between using two single-head machines and one two-head. While the MT-1501 and the MT-1502 function identically, they each require different workflows and each have their own advantages.
But remember, while the speed and number of caps embroidered are important, this competition will come down to the quality of the embroidery on each cap. And with Henry Ma judging the caps, you know only the most perfect embroidery, stitches and placement on these caps will qualify.
At the end of the day, there can only be one winner. Who do you think will win at the end of this competition? Tell us in the comments below, and next week on part two of this epic competition, you’ll find out just who claims victory!
Stay tuned!
