Women Reservation Bill: 17 अप्रैल 2026 को लोकसभा में नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार का 131वां संविधान संशोधन विधेयक पारित नहीं हो सका। यह बिल नारी शक्ति वंदन अधिनियम को परिसीमन से जोड़कर जल्द लागू करने के उद्देश्य से लाया गया था। बिल के गिरने के बाद छात्रों और युवाओं की तीखी प्रतिक्रियाएं सामने आई हैं। कई छात्रों का मानना है कि महिला आरक्षण को परिसीमन से जोड़ना गलत फैसला था, जिससे इसके लागू होने में देरी हो सकती थी। वहीं कुछ लोगों ने इसे ओबीसी आरक्षण के बिना महिला आरक्षण लागू करने के विरोध के रूप में भी देखा।
