Sofia asked to leave school in the middle of 11th grade to finish up high school home schooled. She designed her curriculum to be the study of art history and exploring the practice of her art. Soon thereafter she wandered into Diana Donaldson and James Hill’s art studio in San Clemente. This was the first step to a loving friendship centered around art and mutual respect that has helped set course for Sofia's life in the years since. The rest is herstory in the making…
