Digging In: Petoskey Rain Gardens with Jessica Shaw-Nolff
Looking for ideas for a rain garden of your dreams? We're featuring Northern Michigan rain gardens here on our channel to give viewers inspiration for their own projects. Petoskey resident Jessica Shaw-Nolff explains how she used the Project Rain Garden grant from Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council to fund her own rain garden. The bright and showy flowers, like bee balm, swamp milkweed, and penstemon, pull double duty as their roots soak up excess stormwater and prevent pollution from running into the bay. Look for more inspiration from local rain gardens, coming up soon!
