Steve Miles on Medical and Bioethics (The Mary Hanson Show)

Steven H. Miles, MD, Professor Emeritus of Medicine and Bioethics at the University of Minnesota, is Mary's guest. He discusses how COVID has affected the medical world with issues such as who gets the last remaining bed at a hospital.  Steve describes how “clinical prognosis” works in the medical world, and he also discusses the organ transplant discussion going on in Colorado asking people waiting for a transplant to be vaccinated.  In this far reaching interview he also talks about the anti-science attitude of many and explains why this is dangerous to our country.  Dr. Miles also fields questions from Mary about climate change, genetic testing for Alzheimer’s, assisted suicide and medical privacy.
