Australia has known for ‘quite a while’ where PM stands in the Israel-Hamas conflict
Sky News host Liz Storer says Australia has known for “quite a while” where Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stands in the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Ms Storer sat with Sky News host James Macpherson and Sky News host Caleb Bond to discuss the ongoing increase in anti-Semitism following Israel’s escalated conflict with Hamas.
On October 7 Israel declared war on Hamas after the Palestinian militant group fired thousands of rockets as far north as Tel Aviv.
“At the risk of sounding like a broken record, it was just two months ago that the Albanese government said the Israeli settlements were illegal and that the West Bank and Gaza were occupied Palestinian territories,” Ms Storer said.
“So we knew quite a while before this conflict broke out where they stood on the two-state solution – Israel-Palestine issue.”
