Lola's Lumpia $100 Filipino Food Truck Challenge!!

A&Z #881 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs Lola's Lumpia $100 Filipino Food Truck Challenge hosted by Lola's Lumpia Food Truck outside Oak Road Brewery in Summerville, South Carolina!! After finishing up my food challenges in North Carolina, I traveled down to South Carolina where I attempted lots of delicious food challenges as part of my 2020 Southeast USA Tour. For event #3, I traveled down to Summerville, South Carolina which is just outside Charleston, SC. I was the first person to attempt and I helped kick off the Lola's Lumpia $100 Food Truck Challenge hosted by Lola's Lumpia Food Truck outside Oak Road Brewery. I had 45 minutes to finish lots of traditional Filipino foods which were so delicious!! There were 48 lumpia total which the food truck is known for, with 16 / Each of 3 different meats - chicken, pork, and beef. I also got to enjoy an adobo pulled pork sandwich, 1/2lb of Filipino pancit, 2 Siopao, a big handful of shrimp chips, and I tried drinking 3 delicious beers produced by Oak Road Brewery. I was trying to win my $100 Filipino food truck dinner free, a sweet t-shirt, and the first spot on Lola's Wall of Fame. Thank you to Mark and his wife (Lola's owners) and their team for the wonderful food and hospitality, and thanks also to Ben (owner of Oak Road Brewery) and his team for the delicious beers and drinks!! Thanks also to everyone who came that Sunday to watch and meet me!! I appreciate everyone around the Summerville, SC area and throughout the state of South Carolina who supports our efforts!! Lola's Lumpia $100 Filipino Food Truck Challenge in Summerville, South Carolina ($100):

- Lola's Lumpia Food Truck serves the greater Charleston area, including Summerville, SC.
- Their specialty is serving Filipino lumpia which are 1oz fried Filipino-style spring rolls.
- For this food truck challenge, you must finish 48 of them (3lbs total) with 3 different meats.
- There are 16 with chicken, 16 with beef, and 16 with pork, and you get both of their sauces.
- The challenge includes 2 Siopao (pork steamed buns), shrimp chips, and 1/2 lb of pancit.
- There is also a delicious pulled pork adobo sandwich topped with slaw and some sauces.
- My challenge took place at Oak Road Brewery. The beers I drank were only to promote the brewery and they were not part of the actual food challenge. The base food challenge has no drink requirements.
- There is a 45 minute time limit. Winners get the $100 Filipino meal free and a sweet Lola's t-shirt.
