A special Les Paul repair and restoration part 1

A Les Paul was sent to me that was destroyed by the original owner. His friend that had taken the broken guitar then routed out a section so it would hold a bolt on neck and would still work for a guitar. The original owner that broke the guitar had died of cancer, and his friend had sent me the guitar to restore and change into something cool for sentimental value. the guitar will be completely different by the time I am finished with it. here are some highlights from the restoration process including an injury to yours truly. :)
