Elden Ring-Dung Eater Moat Location and how to get him to spawn

Dung Eater's quest begins in the Roundtable. Eventually he will leave and a message will appear to meet him at the moat. Go to the capital rampart grace and go west towards small lake. To get him to appear, walk to western edge until you see you have been invaded. Watch out for the Giant crab. After beating dung eater, return to the roundtable and speak him to again to continue his quest line. You do NOT need to visit any merchants to get Dung Eater to appear.
