Never Tolexed Before… Think I Nailed This Bright Red Cab. HBU?

This is the first time I’ve ever applied Tolex—but I didn’t want it to look like a first time. I was working on a StewMac 1x12 speaker cab and decided to go bold with bright red British-style vinyl with white and black appointments. I spent a lot of time researching how to get professional results using a Fender style tolex wrap, and then went all-in: adhesive, seam control, clean corners, pressure rolling… the whole deal.

There’s still more to do—grill cloth, speaker, wiring—but this video is all about the Tolex work.
