Special Event Management Seminar
Who: Harold Reaves, City of Columbia Special Events Coordinator and Laura Truell, Instructor of Sports Entertainment Management for the University of South Carolina
What: A series of workshops designed to assist and prepare event managers with planning, producing, and administering their events. Topical areas for this series will include: Event Management 101, Staffing, Risk Management/Liability, Insurance, Sponsorship/Funding.
This initial workshop will address the fundamentals needed for a strong start when planning your event. Establishing a planning process, staffing organization and timelines needed to stay on track will be discussed. We will also cover the necessity of training to increase efficiency and decrease liability. Bring all questions and concerns for this informative session.
