You keep seeing people working with AI agents in their business and thinking that's a project for another day. Something you'll build when things slow down. But things don't slow down when you're running everything yourself.

I've built over 30 AI skills in the last six months using something I call the Skill Building Loop. The whole idea is that you don't set aside time to build your system. You build it while you do your actual work.

You pick a workflow you already do, run it with AI, and at the end you tell it to codify the whole thing into a repeatable skill. Next time you run that workflow, you use the skill. It'll be rough the first couple of times, but after each run you tell AI to update the skill with everything it learned. That's how skills get better over time without you having to manually rewrite anything.

The reason this works is because you're treating AI like a new employee, not a tool. You're training it on the job instead of trying to write the perfect manual upfront.
