THE SECRET OF CHILI GARLIC SAUCE | Don't make it until you watch this!

This homemade Chili Garlic Sauce recipe is made of fresh ingredients that you can find in your kitchen. Unlike Sriracha, this is a freshly made sauce, unfermented and can be used for cooking and a condiment.

This spicy, garlicky chili sauce goes best with any soup such as ramen, noodles, siomai, viands(Ulam), or even on a soy sauce/vinegar dipping sauce! Try to add on your garlic butter shrimp as well and you will surely love it.

Ingredients:
402 grams Garlic
270 grams Chili pepper
402 ml cooking oil
105 ml white vinegar
60 grams sugar
18 grams salt

atsuete seeds (Annatto)
peppercorns

FAQs + TIPS:

* Shelf life of chili garlic sauce is about 6 months or more
*No need to put at the fridge
*If for personal use and eat it often, no need for vinegar
--AS LONG AS IT WAS PROPERLY COOKED AND THE JAR WAS STERILIZED

*Cooking time depends on the quantity of the mixture of chili and garlic
(It does NOT mean that if its boiling, it's already cooked.)
*Garlic and chili should be cut into uniform pieces for evenly cooking and to avoid early spoilage
*You can adjust the amount of sugar and salt according to your preference
*Sterilization is different from canning process (not mention on the video)
