Fishing the RUSSIAN RIVER [fresh SOCKEYE SALMON in ALASKA!]

This is day 2 of our 8-day camping, fishing, and sightseeing trip in Alaska. We spent the entire day fishing for Sockeye Salmon at the Russian River! Instead of taking the Russian River ferry, we decided to hike from the Russian River campground down to the confluence of the Russian and Kenai rivers. This area is also frequented by bears for food so definitely bring some bear spray with you just in case!
