It details how using the right upper quadrant (RUQ) view during an ultrasound examination of a trauma patient enables clinicians to identify the collection of fluid in the Pouch of Morison, which is between the liver and kidney. This video also emphasizes the importance of scanning the caudal tip of the liver, which is where free fluid frequently pools.
